Landmark Festival highlighted New York City's iconic hip hop "landmarks" in a weekend full of art, music, and dance, further memorializing and honoring the spaces. On the second day, taking place at FSG Park in NYC's Lower East Side, festival goers watched a lineup of stylewriters create murals on the walls, adding to the location's cult history.
In collaboration with Landmark Festival, the Trops created a mapped exhibition with Shiro. Shiro's artwork showcases the fusion of Japanese aesthetics and old school New York graffiti art. Her signature character "Mimi" is emblematic of strength and femininity.
